Expanding Capacity, Capabilities, and Commitment

The start of a new year is always a moment to look forward—but at Stratasys Direct, we’re doing more than planning. We’re building a stronger foundation designed to support manufacturing programs from prototype through production.

As a leader in additive manufacturing services, we’re entering the year with expanded capacity, new capabilities, and continued investment in the infrastructure, materials and digital tools our customers rely on.

Facility Built for Scalable Manufacturing

One of the most significant milestones for us is our recent move into a shared headquarters with Stratasys. By bringing additive hardware innovation and manufacturing services together, we’ve strengthened collaboration, improved alignment across teams, and increased our ability to support complex and regulated production programs.

This move isn’t just about space. It’s about readiness: readiness to scale, to support tighter timelines, and to deliver consistent quality across a growing range of applications in medical, aerospace, and defense.

How We’re Building the Future in 2026:

The year ahead brings meaningful expansions across materials, certifications, finishing capabilities, and digital manufacturing tools—each designed to give our customers more flexibility and fewer barriers to production.

  • Advanced material science: We’re continuing to grow our materials portfolio to support more demanding use cases. New and upcoming additions include biocompatible PA12W, Med3394, silicone, and other high-performance materials. These options give engineers greater flexibility when balancing functionality, compliance, and end-use performance.

  • Certified Quality at Scale: Quality and compliance remain core to how we operate. All three Stratasys Direct facilities are ISO 13485 certified, reinforcing our commitment to medical manufacturing standards. We’re also expanding aerospace and defense–certified capacity, including CMMC readiness, to support secure and compliant programs in highly regulated environments.
  • Automated Post-Processing: Vapor Smoothing. To meet the growing demand for production-ready parts, we’ve introduced vapor smoothing to our post-processing capabilities. This finishing option improves surface quality and aesthetics, ensuring end-use parts perform as well as they look.
  • Smarter Digital Tools: We continue to invest in our digital experience to make manufacturing easier and faster. Enhancements to RapidQuotes™ will streamline online quoting and ordering, while our new AI-powered chat experience will help customers get answers the moment they need them.
  • Accelerating Manufacturing Readiness: Looking ahead, we’re developing future-ready workflows that translate 2D drawings into 3D-ready quotes. By capturing part requirements directly from drawings and converting them into manufacturable models, we can move projects from design to part faster than ever.
