Transform CT DICOM data into 3D printable, patient-specific phantoms—without manual segmentation.
The Digital Anatomy Twin™ software converts CT DICOM data directly into 3D printable, patient-specific phantoms—no segmentation required. Unlike traditional workflows that lose critical anatomical detail during segmentation, it preserves the full voxel-level information from the original scan.
The result is phantoms with realistic radiopacity and anatomical precision that provide true visibility and contrast between structures under medical imaging.
Developed in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers, It is included with the Digital Anatomy Creator software license, available within GrabCAD, and supports the J5, J750, and J850 Digital Anatomy printers.
No manual segmentation. No manual material mapping. No complex model preparation.
1. Prepare DICOM
Import your anonymized CT DICOM series and instantly validate scan metadata and consistency.
2. Map
Automatically map CT voxel values to PolyJet material combinations and generate a print-ready file.
3. Print
Send to your Digital Anatomy printer and produce a phantom with realistic, voxel-level radiopacity.
The Calibration Cylinder is designed to measure the Hounsfield Unit (HU) values of the relevant materials on your specific CT system. Print the model, scan it using your desired CT protocol, and measure the HU values of each material section: RadioMatrix™, Vero™, and TissueMatrix®.
These measured HU values can then be used to create a custom HU profile in Digital Anatomy Twin, enabling more accurate CT attenuation matching and improved realism in your printed phantom models.
The cylinder consists of a 1 mm outer coating of Vero material and includes 30 mm sections of each material.
