Dr. Sujaya Rao is a healthcare executive with 25 years of experience at one of the world's leading cancer centers, MD Anderson Cancer Center. She holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences and has built her career at the intersection of research innovation, clinical operations, and financial strategy. As a leader in the Division of Diagnostic Imaging, Dr. Rao is at the forefront of building and scaling novel programs (image de-identification services, quantitative imaging lab) including a point-of-care 3D printing practice that she helped build from the ground up. She has also filed several patents related to advancing diagnostic imaging. Her work spans clinical research and clinical operations (including medical 3D printing), as well as the critical financial architecture that makes these programs sustainable.
