Design the Tools Your Floor Needs. No CAD Required.

Your floor runs on tools nobody buys off the shelf: shadow boards, kitting trays, soft jaws, drill guides, masking and more.

You already know what these tools should look like. The hard part is finding the CAD time to design them.

In this three-part live webinar series, see how the Additive App Suite lets engineers design custom manufacturing tools in minutes, without CAD. Each session focuses on practical applications you can put to work on the factory floor, while supporting a lean manufacturing goal your plant is already measured on.

Session 1: A Place for Every Tool: 5S Shadow Boards and Kitting Trays in Minutes

  • Tuesday, November 10 |  7:00 AM PT | 9:00 AM CT | 15:00 GMT | 16:00 CET
  • Design 5S shadow boards, kitting trays and workstation holders in minutes, without CAD.
  • See how easy it is to create tools tailored to your workspace and learn how they support tool control and Set in Order goals on the manufacturing floor.

Session 2: Hold It Right the First Time: Custom Jaws, Grippers and Drill Guides

  • Tuesday, November 24 | 7:00 AM PT | 9:00 AM CT | 15:00 GMT | 16:00 CET
  • Design soft jaws, robotic grippers and drill guides shaped to your part in minutes, without CAD.
  • See how custom-fit tooling can support setup reduction and error-proofing, helping operators hold and position parts correctly from the start.

Session 3: Protect Every Part: Fitted Masking and Protective Plugs

  • Tuesday, December 15 |  7:00 AM PT | 9:00 AM CT | 15:00 GMT | 16:00 CET
  • Design masking and protective plugs fitted directly to your part, without spending hours creating custom CAD.
  • See how repeatable, part-specific protection can reduce rework in finishing and make masking and protection easier to reproduce from part to part.
