Powered by the J5 DentaJet Platform

Full-color, multi-material monolithic printing in a single, streamlined workflow

Using PolyJet™ technology, the J5 DentaJet simultaneously jets and cures multiple materials to produce accurate, monolithic removable restorations with lifelike aesthetics in a single build.

Five primary color resins digitally blend to create thousands of shade variations for natural-looking restorations designed for consistent framework integration.

Resin Spray

TrueDent Materials

Five primary resins. Unlimited aesthetic possibilities.

TrueDent® monolithic base and teeth RPD components are produced using five FDA-cleared (Class II) and CE-marked (Class IIa) color resins that digitally blend to create a wide range of natural-looking tooth and gingiva shades with lifelike aesthetic details and translucency.

A dedicated support material ensures accuracy and surface quality during printing, then is easily removed with a water-based process for a clean, high-fidelity final restoration.

FAQ

A: Yes, TrueDent 3D printed RPDs are FDA cleared for long-term patient use. TrueDent is an FDA-cleared Class II dental resin indicated for removable full and partial dentures. The material supports permanent, long-term prosthetic applications and is not limited to temporary or provisional use.

A: The TrueSnap RPD workflow is compatible with exocad and 3Shape CAD software. Dental laboratories use these platforms to design removable partial denture frameworks and prosthetic components. This compatibility allows labs to integrate monolithic TrueDent base and tooth components into preferred digital workflows.

A: TrueVoxel shade matching combines multiple color resins during 3D printing to create natural-looking restorations. The technology digitally blends tooth and gingiva shades, translucencies, and internal color structures. Technicians use advanced characterization options within the digital workflow to precisely match unusual or highly characterized existing teeth.

A: 3D printed TrueDent® RPDs provide highly accurate, true-to-design components that integrate consistently with metal frameworks. Compared with traditionally processed RPDs, TrueDent eliminates manual steps such as waxing, tooth setup, acrylic packing, and polymerization that can introduce fit variability.
Compared with milled RPDs, TrueDent also produces monolithic tooth and gingiva structures with complex shade gradients and translucencies while maintaining the accuracy needed for predictable framework assembly and repeatable results.

A: Patients do not typically need more adjustment appointments with well-designed 3D printed RPDs than with conventional RPDs. Digital workflows produce highly accurate, repeatable components that reduce fit variability caused by manual processing steps. TrueDent® prints the base and teeth as a single monolithic component, eliminating an assembly step while supporting consistent framework integration that can help reduce remakes, adjustments, and chairside refinement.

A: Patients should care for a TrueDent® removable partial denture like a conventional RPD. Remove and rinse it after meals, brush it gently with a denture brush or soft-bristled toothbrush, and clean it regularly with a commercial denture cleanser or mild hand soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, vinegar, boiling water, and stiff brushes. Store the RPD in clean water or a denture-soaking solution when not in use and bring it to regular dental checkups to maintain fit, function, and comfort.

A: Dental clinics and dentists can find a laboratory that produces TrueDent® RPDs by using the Stratasys TrueDent Lab Finder. The directory helps identify participating dental laboratories for case planning, fabrication, and ongoing support. Patients should ask their dentist whether they work with a TrueDent laboratory. If not, patients can use the Lab Finder to locate participating labs nearby and share that information with their dental provider.

Find a TrueDent Lab

A: Yes. TrueDent® RPDs can be used with implant-retained frameworks or attachments when the case is properly planned by the dental clinician and laboratory. The TrueSnap™ workflow supports multiple framework and attachment approaches, allowing monolithic printed teeth and gingiva to integrate with the framework best suited to the patient's needs. Long-term success depends on proper treatment planning, framework design, attachment selection, and clinical execution.
