Founded in 1977, NDM Dental Lab is part of the Nissman Group and is widely recognized as one of the largest and most advanced dental laboratories in Israel. With decades of professional expertise and a strong heritage of combining advanced technology with skilled craftsmanship, this high-volume dental lab continues to lead the industry in innovation and quality.
NDM produces approximately 500–600 dentures per week, serving a broad network of dental professionals across both the private sector and the public healthcare system—including hospitals and major health organizations. The laboratory is dedicated to meeting the needs of patients who demand uncompromising accuracy, high‑end aesthetics, and long‑term reliability.
As demand for dentures increased, NDM faced a critical bottleneck: manual production methods limited scalability, efficiency, and consistency. Traditional workflows required extensive labor and slowed turnaround times, making it difficult to sustain growing case volumes without compromising on quality. The lab needed a high-volume 3D printed digital dentures solution that could increase production capacity without additional headcount, deliver highly accurate and natural‑looking dentures, and support fast turnaround times with simple, reliable reprints. This TrueDent resin case study explains how they did it.
NDM transformed its 3D printed digital denture production process by adopting the Stratasys J5 DentaJet® printer together with TrueDent® resin, establishing a fully digital workflow that elevated both efficiency and quality. With the J5, the lab can print continuously—day and night—allowing for rapid scaling and significantly higher output compared to traditional methods.
The printer’s ability to produce monolithic, full‑color dentures in a single print eliminates bonding steps and simplifies production. TrueDent further enhances the workflow by delivering exceptional aesthetic versatility, including natural translucency, cervical shading, and the unique ability to print multiple shade combinations of dentures at the same time. This enables NDM to consistently produce lifelike, patient‑specific prosthetics with stunning realism.
The adoption of Stratasys technology has been transformational for NDM. The lab now manages high‑volume dental lab 3D printing denture production with ease, printing multiple cases in one job and meeting increased demand without compromising quality. TrueDent’s precision and repeatability ensure that every denture fits accurately and looks natural, reducing adjustments and resulting in highly satisfied patients.
Dentists report significantly improved workflow efficiency, reduced chair time, and exceptional consistency enabled by the ability to quickly reproduce dentures from stored digital files. For NDM, the shift to a digital denture ecosystem has strengthened operational efficiency, elevated clinical outcomes, and reinforced its reputation as a leader in dental innovation.
