Evan Hochstein has spent 12 years successfully building additive manufacturing programs for many companies. With Stratasys Evan has built deep relationships with large providers and customers seeking the best medical additive manufacturing solutions. In his role as Medical Business Manager for Stratasys, Evan has worked to provide expertise to the medical AM field and has pushed the envelope of what is possible, always focusing on patients and customers. He has received multiple certifications and awards for his work in the field and his support of mentorship and education initiatives. He takes most pride in being a national finalist for the “Woodie Flowers” Award, celebrating mentors who work in robotics and engineering design.

Tori is a Senior Medical Segment Application Engineer at Stratasys, where she supports the advancement of Stratasys’ additive manufacturing technologies across the medical space by partnering with clinical, research, and industry stakeholders to drive adoption of 3D printing solutions in healthcare. Previously, she served as a Senior Engineer in the Anatomic Modeling Unit (AMU) at Mayo Clinic. In this role, she supported a broad range of surgical and clinical specialties and collaborated directly with physicians and radiologists to design and deliver 3D printed anatomic models and patient-specific devices. She holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Michigan, where her graduate research focused on bioink development for 3D printing.

  • What needs to be defined and controlled after design freeze.
  • Design transfer and manufacturing readiness considerations.
  • Material and process validation.
  • Repeatability, traceability, and quality considerations.
  • Production volume, capacity, and scalability.
  • When to manufacture in-house, outsource, or consider a hybrid approach.
  • Common implementation challenges and lessons learned.
  •  Where additive may or may not make sense for production.

He is responsible for driving alignment between engineering, fulfillment, maintenance, and quality teams—ensuring efficient, validated, and production-ready AM workflows across Stratasys Direct’s range of technologies, which includes FDM™, PolyJet, SAF®, SLS, P3™ DLP, SLA, and MJF. Andrew’s expertise spans process development, capability analysis, and operational improvement, with a current emphasis on implementing an IQPQ (Installation Qualification, Performance Qualification) framework to standardize manufacturing readiness across Stratasys Direct’s facilities. Earlier in his career, he led over $1.25 million in successful government-funded R&D programs to explore new AM materials and applications. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science from Boston University.
