Stratasys is responding with a new customer-focused Additive Manufacturing Ecosystem designed to help you design and manufacture better products, your way. We bringing the Your Way Ecosystem to life at EuroMold 2014 with new partnership and program announcements, new product demonstrations, and a host of new show-stopping customer applications that exemplify the faster time to market, reduced costs and improved designs enabled with Stratasys 3D printing.

Flying with Stratasys

To demonstrate the full power of our newly expanded suite of 3D printing systems and advanced materials, we will be featuring several exciting prototyping and manufacturing applications across three booths at EuroMold 2014. On our main booth, Hall 11, stand D90, you can get an up-close insight into the superior workflow and cost-reducing capabilities enjoyed by leading designers and manufacturers using our advanced 3D printing technologies. This aerospace-themed stand features a remarkable, full-size airplane cabin interior that employs a combination of state of the art FDM and PolyJet 3D printing techniques for prototypes (various seat parts), manufacturing tools (sand casting pattern for seat base) and end use parts (sidewall upper skin, electrical clips and air ducts).

The airplane cabin serves as a main gateway to the booth interior, where you can get a feel for our newly launched 3D printers, including the Fortus 450mc 3D Production System for Engineering-grade parts, the Objet260 Connex 3 Color Multi-material 3D Printer, which brings color, multi-material 3D printing to your design center, and the new ULTEM 1010 Resin combining superior heat and chemical resistance and tensile strength with bio-compatibility.

Explore Our Innovative Application Kiosks

Aviation is just one of the application solutions that Stratasys is presenting in Hall 11. Stratasys’ 3D printing solutions are revolutionizing design and manufacturing practices in many key sectors, exemplified by several application kiosks located at various “gates” in the booth, including:

  • Reduce Development Costs: UT Dallas Biomedical Device Center uses Stratasys 3D Printing to save 75% in costs, trim 13 months off a development cycle, and optimize their designs of concussion sensors for a universal fit. See more at Gate 103.

  • Unleash Creativity & Improve Design:  Legacy Effects perfects their props and costumes with daily design iterations, beats out the competition with the ability to create 3D concept models overnight, and builds “unbuildable props” with design material and versatility.   • Enable Uncompromised Design: Champion Motorsport uses Stratasys 3D Printing with soluble cores to produce complex composites, gain a superior finish inside and out on all surfaces, and deliver strong, seam-free parts. Learn more at Gate 106.

  • Customize at Any Volume: Normal Earphones built a previously impossible business model with completely custom-fit earphones, digitized their workflow with onsite Stratasys 3D Production Systems at their NYC store, and surpassed customer expectations with a 48-hour turnaround.   • Reduce Costs: StreetScooter used the Stratasys Objet1000 3D Production System – the world’s largest Multi-material 3D Production System – to design and build a fully functional prototype for an affordable and sustainable electric car in just one year. Have a seat at Gate 109.

Augmenting Traditional Manufacturing

In addition, at Hall 8, stand H139, we will be showcasing the huge efficiencies achievable by introducing additive manufacturing into traditional manufacturing applications.  Five core manufacturing applications are being featured: jigs and fixtures, composite processing tooling, metal processing tooling, plastic processing tooling, and end use products - with exciting examples such as a Porsche engine with carbon fiber parts and robotic end of arm tools.

Demonstrating how Creatives are pushing the boundaries of 3D printing, Stratasys is offering EuroMold visitors a chance to view twelve stunning 3D printed sculptures by three influential artists in a special gallery in Hall 11, stand FN01. Entitled “The Sixth Element: Unveiling the Beauty of 3D Printing,” the gallery features 12 ground-breaking new works by Prof. Neri Oxman, Nick Ervinck and Eyal Gever.
