Jeremy Hui is a Senior Applications Engineer focused on manufacturing applications for Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) Technology. He has been with Stratasys since 2014 and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from University of Wisconsin and University of Minnesota respectively.

  • Tim Geraghty, Manufacturing Engineer, Gosiger

Tim Geraghty is a Manufacturing Engineer with Gosiger’s Engineered Systems Division. His Traditional Manufacturing experience includes automotive, aerospace, and firearm components, as well as working with Automation and in-process gaging. He has spent the last three years as Gosiger’s in-house Additive Applications Engineer, working extensively with other Gosiger Engineers and their Customers to identify, design, develop and produce additive solutions for manual and automated machining cells.

OVERVIEW

As part designs evolve, becoming increasingly more complex and unique, the ability to create soft jaws to hold these pieces for machining operations becomes more challenging and time consuming. Additive manufacturing provides a lower cost and more efficient solution compared to other alternatives, allowing manufacturers to 3D print soft jaws for work holding applications in a fraction of the time.

Stratasys FDM 3D printers provide manufacturers with reliable, high performance, and chemical resistant thermoplastics to withstand the harshest manufacturing environments.

This webinar aims to uncover the potential of FDM printed soft jaws using strong carbon fiber reinforced materials such as Nylon 12CF and ABS CF10. Join us as we learn firsthand from Stratasys Application Engineer Jeremy Hui and Tim Geraghty, how Gosiger has leveraged this technology to improve their workflow and boost productivity.
