As I mentioned in my last blog, we are seeing a lot of innovation in the smaller entrepreneurial start-ups. At RedEye many of the successes have come from the medical device industry. Often times the idea for a new device comes from a doctor who works with a small group of designers and investors to get the idea designed and into the first phases of production. But before they can take this idea too far they require market validation.
